Easter and Resurrection
Easter is the celebration of the Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of the salvation of us, human beings. At a time when so much nonsense and blasphemies are preferred by the so-called elites it is worth remembering how unique we are, how are sins were forgiven, how this is a time to celebrate the mystery of the Creation. Each one of us is unique, as individual human, as a child of our Lord. Our personal being, our mind, our body, our soul, are nowhere else in the universe to be found.
We may look like others, for example our siblings, yet we are unique. The Resurrection is also the story of how the Creation made us special, whatever our behaviour, whatever our deeds. We are His children, made at His image. Each one of us is unique, for He cares for each one of us, as individuals, irreplaceable, in His flock.
Jesus is King
Our thoughts are unique, the way we think about the world, how we understand it, is unique. We may join that church or that school, believe in this or that heresy, in the end it does not matter: Jesus Christ is King. We are unique because He sees us as unique, sinner or saint. As unique sheep in His flock, each one of us is special. We worship Him as we, individuals in the emptiness of space, are in awe when confronted to the immensity of His Creation.
We sit silently in our places of worship. The lucky ones among us feel His presence, sometime, sometime not. Others look for Him in nature, in the mountains, in the forests. Only the Devil pretends there is no point, after all that creature is not short of adepts, all miserable as it is. Time and time again it’s pushed back, goes rolling down the slope as an ugly puppet in its filth. Its creatures are not unique, as we are. It and them are reject, the lost material rejected by the Lord, let’s ignore their complaints, and move on.
We are unique
We are unique, because of Him, His love for us, His sacrifice. We are therefore responsible to bear witness, to identify the lies for what they are, to recognise the ignoble creatures of the Enemy. He is King, over the whole Creation, we are His little ones. Sometime we have to bear arms, to stand up, whenever the Enemy shows its ugly face, or spit obscenities in the face of the Lord. Our Uniqueness is our shield: what differentiates us from the swamp of the Enemy. We share His love for us, we are confident of His total victory over evil.
Easter is our celebration, Christ is risen!
In conclusion, Easter serves as a powerful reminder of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, which exemplifies God’s immense love for us. As the children of God, we are inherently unique. This celebration calls us to embrace our individuality and recognize the extraordinary love that sets us apart. Let us cherish our distinctiveness and strive to live in the light of God’s unwavering love, knowing that it is this love that makes us truly one-of-a-kind.
